Where We Are Hotel Genova

Hotel Genova has convenient connections to all the main tourist, economic and cultural attractions in the city of Rome.

It is just short walk from Termini Station and close to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Imperial Fora, the Coliseum, and the Rome Opera House.

Many famous streets and squares of the capital intersect in this area, such as:
Piazza dei Cinquecento, junction point of Metro lines A & B and all the bus and express train lines that link the city with Leonardo da Vinci airport, FCO;
Via Cavour, with the church of San Pietro in Vincoli, known as the site of Michelangelo’s Moses,
Piazza della Repubblica, beside the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri,
Via Nazionale, with Palazzo Koch, historic site of the Banca d’Italia since 1893, the church of Saint Paul within the walls, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and many shops where you can do some shopping.

Via Merulana, which follows the route of the 16^th-century Via Gregoriana, linking Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, the Scala Santa and the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.

Piazza Barberini, at the centre of which stands the Triton Fountain sculpted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in 1643, and also famous as the starting point of Via Veneto, the street made famous by the film "La Dolce Vita".

Via dei Fori Imperiali, with the Roman Forum, the Coliseum and the Victor Emmanuel II monument.

By train:
From Termini Central Station, 300 metres to the left of the main exit.

By car:
From the north: Take the A1 and exit at Roma Nord, then take the Grande Raccordo Anulare until the Settebagni exit. Follow the directions for Salaria and then for centro/Porta Pinciana.

From the east: Exit at the Tangenziale Est and take Via Tiburtina. Follow the directions for Stazione Termini.

From the south: From the A1 take the Grande Raccordo Anulare as far as exit 23 Appia. At San Giovanni follow the directions for Stazione Termini.

By plane:
From Leonardo da Vinci/Fiumicino International Airport:
Take the Roma – Fiumicino motorway, exit on Via Cristoforo Colombo and follow the directions for centro/San Giovanni.
